Building a Brand Story at Architectural Scale
A large-format history timeline that had to be technically redesigned two days before installation without losing the original creative intent.

The Challenge
Two days before install, the original production method disappeared.
The wall had been designed as cut graphic elements applied directly to a white wall. A facility-approved material change meant the new material could be printed but could not be plotter cut.
The concept, files and installation plan were already built around cut components.
The Solution
Use the material limitation as part of the design.
My technical production knowledge led to a solution: add a very light blue tint behind the full composition so the approved cling could be printed as panels while still reading intentionally against the architecture.
I pitched the revised approach directly to the client's VP of Events, secured approval and moved the files into the new production method.

The Result
Production knowledge protected the creative idea. The workaround became invisible in the final environment, and the finished installation became the largest cling ever applied to a wall at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
