AI is part of my creative process, not the creative process.
The useful question is not whether AI can do something. It is whether using it makes the work better, faster or more reliable.
Visual exploration
Hands-on image generation and development using Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Grok and ChatGPT, including adapting generated imagery to real production requirements.
Turn messy information into usable data
I use AI for planning and information cleanup, including converting handwritten save lists and notes into structured Excel-ready data that teams can actually use.
Catch problems before show site
I have generated purpose-built tools that compare sign grids against proof reports and flag discrepancies for review before arrival onsite. The goal is not to remove human judgment; it is to focus it where mistakes are expensive.
AI in a live-event workflow
CES 2024 is the clearest production example. The client used Midjourney to generate the conference's branding imagery. I worked with design and layout teams to determine how lower-resolution, predominantly square source assets could be enlarged and recomposed across radically different architectural formats and roughly 350,000 square feet of graphics.
We also explored AI as part of attendee activations, including a selfie concept that would place an attendee into one of the four branded visual worlds.
